| I have a friend that I work with and she has been trying to break up with her boyfriend.
She told me that while they were having make-sex HE started crying about how sorry he was for lying and that it would never happen again.
Does it make him less of a man for crying and begging for forgiveness?
I say NO if he's sincere. JMO
What do you think??

| I guess that's what make-up sex is all about. Dontcha think that the situation (being naked and having sex) influences his behavior? Does it give him license to screw up again when his clothes are back on? I ponder.

| Depends. It takes courage for a man to actually break down and cry.
OTOH, if he can't then "suck it up" and deal with his emotional state (and yours), he does not have the strength to deal with emotional issues.
Furthermore, it could be all an act.
I'd be wary.

| No, I don't think it makes him less of a man really. But how did she re-act to that??? I mean...come on, you're having sex with someone and they start crying. Did she start crying, too? Did she laugh?? Did they get done?? Better yet, did she forgive him??
Really, there is nothing with a man expressing how he feels. I am all for that. It sounds like he really cares about her and he is truly sorry for whatever he's done. I don't think that any man could be a good enough actor to pull that one off...

| Well I know this guy a little bit. I know the lie he told and I personally think it was a sincere apology. Now if he screws up again, than I'll think less of him. But he's not my boyfriend so it really doesn't effect me one way or another. I just care about my friend and her feelings.

| No! It doesn't make a man any less of one if they cry or express their emotions. By no means is this a bad characteristic to have.
BUT you're friend should not believe a cheater or liar. Usually, but not always, once a liar and cheater, always one!! The tendency will always be there. JMHO

| I agree maniac. I couldn't handle it if a man cried for everything. But he screwed up and he knows it, now he has to prove that he won't do it again.
For the record, he didn't cheat and it had nothing to do with another woman.

| No, it shows he has feelings/emotions and a conscience. There are so many men that dont like to show their emotions for fear of being thought of as less of a man in our eyes. Men are human too.
