If you want to bring in Jesus as a discussion, this can be discussed/debated as well.

| personally i dont believe in any organized religion ,why pay someone to do your talking for you [or praying].DO i believe theres a entity up in the sky in white robes looking down on us [NO I DONT] if there was why let things happen to inocent children [LIKE CHILD MOLESTERS] women being raped in churchs animals being abused genocide all over the world To me it just doesnt add up . but if a person does believe and it makes them a better person then they have my respect. but for me it just doesnt add up ---LUCAS

| I totally believe in God and Jesus. I have trouble sometimes seeing why he doesnt intervene on some things like child molestation etc and then I read again that we have free will, we have choices in life, and you may get hurt in the process of someone elses free will. I dont begin to understand all there is to know, but for me, there is definetly a divine Lord and Savior named Jesus Christ who is the only begotten son of the one God. The is also Satan, who is a fallen angel, who believes in God as well, but hates him and wants to ruin him and his name. In the end, the book of Revelation reports what happens to the non-saved people, the demons and Satan. I know people who have different ideas and that is their free will.
I have a Hindu and a Pakistani friend, I still say God bless you and they still tell me their slogans of their belifs as well. Neither of us get angry because we know each of us believes our OWN way and want the best for the other person.

Additionally I question your reasoning in thinking this would be a great debate.
Why?
what it WILL lead to is a bunch of close minded individuals bashing a bunch of open minded free-thinkers until there's blood.
Whether I believe in a higher power and have named her (or him) really isn't anyone's business on a dating site.

| I believe in balance - Goddess and God, Yin/Yang. I believe that all people have Goddess and God, Yin/Yang - balance within themselves. All that is alive has balance.
I believe in Spirit, Karma, Nirvana. No person can reach Nirvana without Karma...In each of our lives (reincarnation) we must learn until we have reached a higher learning and a higher spiritual plane. Only then can we reach Nirvana.
I don't think that there is some sort of Male king that rules the universe. That, I believe, is a story made up by Judeo-Christian societies. I certainly do not believe in a male 3 character god. I don't believe in Judeo-Christian notion of heaven and hell.
It would be inappropriate to judge someone because of their belief system. It is also inappropriate for anyone to try to get me to convert to another belief system.
I have studied enough history and religious philosophy to know my own belief system and philosophy to live by. I am Pagan. The Celts and the Druids and the Wicca were on this Earth long before your god was created.
By the way, just a bit of interesting information. The word SATAN (originally pronounced in the ancient hebrew as SAHTAHN), translated, has nothing to do with devils/hell. The word actually means a snake with feet-a lizard.
