Ok,Be nice and be honest.
Doesn't it scare you to date someone who has been married more than once? I mean what happened to being married and taking the vows seriously, I know that there are circumstances for being divorced I'm living one. But the thought of dating someone who has done it 2 or more times is a turn off. Thoughts of why they couldn't hold a relationship goes through my mind or maybe they have commitment issues?

You need to find out what happened.....I was married three times, all of them cheated on me....my first ex, the day after I moved out, his g/f moved in, the second one, i moved out on a saturday, that sunday i went to get my things and that night he went home with a woman we worked with, my third, he was just a plain jerk from the day we got married, he left me for a woman who is 23 yrs old with an 8 yr old son and she works in a bar where he met here, go figure. She had the nerve to call me and ask me to take him back!!! He's her problem now!!! So, I am just plain cautious now, look for ALL the signs, everything. It sucks but if you want a relationship, you have to take your chances and go with the flow, and WATCH the signs (if any), of all the negative things you see....... Good Luck to you

or maybe they keep marring the same type of person...I have been married three times
1) to young and stupid - my fault for the most part
2) alcoholic - she never showed it till our honeymoon cruise over new years - asked for a drink and was drunk from then on....
3) a needy person with major issues - was sexually abused by adopted dad and physically my adopted mother - thought I could help.

Last two I do not consider my fault. First one I consider myself mainly responsible...
So what is the reason and YOUR take on it OP??

I feel that it's more important to discuss with the person what happened in the relationships and what they learned from each marriage...rather than merely focusing on the number of times married. You can learn alot about a person by discussing this topic...and often, you can see attitudes emerge that are not desirable OR perhaps they can express mistakes they made...that they acknowledge and regret and do not want to repeat.

I would be more interested in someone who had been married two or three times if the reasons for divorce were understandable (they were abused or cheated on for example)...more than someone who had been married once...but the reason they divorced was because THEY cheated or abused.

It really does depend on the circumstance. I suppose I'd be leary, but as someone stated earlier, third times a charm

I'd would hope that they learned something from the past marital experience. Take your time to get to know the person.

I prefer to date someone who's been married twice than a pretty woman
who's never been married in her late thirties without any kids RUNNNNNN.

If she has never been married without kids and looks pretty, there are some skeletons. Who wouldn't marry a good woman that looks pretty. Again, she has to be a good woman.

I have been married twice and its like this everybody makes mistakes. My first marriage I was to young and wanting to get away from my mom and dad!! Thats why I have been taking it slower this time. I might have some issues with wondering why some people have never married and being in their 30's and 40's etc. jmo
