| I moved my dad to TX after Katrinan hit MS. Not because of the hurricane but because he was in the V A hospital in Jackson,MS. When the hurricane hit they kicked him out to make room for the people from Gulfport and New Orleans. My sister lived in Spring,TX so I took him there. In 3 weeks he was better and wanted to go back home so I brought him back after the house was repaired and within 3 weeks he was sick again. He was so bad this time that i thought he wouldnt make it so I moved him to my sisters and moved with him thinking it would be nice for him to spend his last couple of months with his surviving children. That was over 2 yrs ago and he is still going strong at 91
