OK, so does anybody have stories to tell about run-ins with crazy lovers?

When I hear somebody broke up because their lover was "crazy," I always want details!

My story: My ex called me at the same time in the afternoon for 3 days in a row, and the calls only lasted a few minutes before his new love got home from work and caught him on the phone.

OK, so his new love calls my then-boyfriend, throwing a fit because I'm after her man! My ex was telling her that I wouldn't stop calling him. (?)

It worked out OK (my boyfriend informed her we could check the records of both phones and see where the calls originated), but the sheer craziness of my ex's behavior had me running scared for a while.

Horror stories, anyone?

dang I had so many crazy scary stories I hesitate to know which one do I tell?

The one that disturbed me the most was the man who showed up at my work with a pick up truck bed full of chopped up lilac bushes (my favorite flower?!) they were shredded - looked like he had run them through the wood chipper first and he frequently quoted Biblical verses to support why God had led him to me and why in the Bible he was told that I was his.

Creepy.

I had a bad experience with a police officer that i dated for about a couple months. I gave him my work location not my work number thinking it would be okay to tell him exactly where I work because he is here to protect and serve and not cause problems. Big mistake. Shortly after arriving at work the same night that I game him my location, I received an incoming phone call on the company phone. Mind you, I work the grave shift alone. When I answered I knew without a doubt in my mind that it was him however, he did NOT identify himself. He began talking to me about things that only the two of us shared. The conversation quickly turned into a phone sex sort of ordeal meanwhile, Im at work and am feeling totally strange about participating in the conversation but decided to hide in the break room in order to indulge him for a few minutes. All of a sudden in a sly voice he states that I don't even know who I am talking to and then he abruptly hangs up the phone. I immediately call him asking him why he hung up and he told me that it wasn't him who called and that I was stupid for talking to someone over the phone who didn't even identify himself. I KNEW KNEW KNEW it was him ! I told him that i was freaked out and that I work alone and am scared. He insisted that it wasn't him even though I knew...i asked him three times for the truth which he refused to give me. After argueing about this for about an hour, I finally told him that I didn't have time for head games so take a hike !

I talked with a gal last fall a bit. Then she hit me up on this site. Seems she was out with some BIG guy she said. Said he was all hands. (How lovely for her.) Anyway, she said, "It was like wrestling with a German shepard!" I wouldn't laugh at her expense, but I had to laugh at her rendition of the evening. I was sort of picturing wrestling one of those BIG dogs.

The word "crazy" is so open to interpretation, but I think it's cool how we all share a sense of what it means to one another.

Thanks for sharing!
