| With having to battle spinal arthritis (from years at a job as a NAC), and being very successful so far, and then to battle type 2 diabetes, also with success so far....I am amazed that there are men out ther that say that they do not care if a woman has a disability, but then turn around later, and decide that it does matter.
Call it cynicism, but until the right guy comes along and proves to me that disability doesn't matter, I will remain skeptical on that point.
I am not quitting trying to be active, as I do still like to hike and camp, and attempt rock climbing. Just that I do not want a man to come up to me and think that because I have some painful days with the arthitis that I am not able to "perform" other physical activities.

| Just because a man breaks up with you doesn't mean its because of a disability. It did not break up with my first girlfriend over her disablity. The relationship became strictly sex and I did not want that and she did.

| meggie disablity is all in the mind . Yes I know that's easier said than done. My Ex was deaf now thats not the disablity your going through but it still is. I did not leave her becasue of her disability. But then again you'll find men who will. If thats the case you dont want to be with them anyway .
