| why is it that when you first talk online to someone, they already are asking you to spend your whole life with them? Is this someone who is desperate, or what are they thinking. I mean, i appreciate the fact that see me for who i am and all, but Who are They? This is not something that can be determined in a few minutes or hours, or even days. Please-keep it real. Does anybody know what i am talking about? What would you think about that?

| paradise..... I know exactly what your talking about. There is a gentleman that I have been talking aobut for the past month or so and he tells me that he is so smitten with me that he cant think of any thing else. That he wants to come and meet me on the long weekend in May. To drive here for where he is takes 2 days. To fly is 4-5 hours. So he said that he is going to fly here. He has cooled it a little since we first stated talking but he still seems to be head over heals. Some I think may just be desperate and could be love at first sight. I dont know if I believe in love at first sight but i sure believe in lust at first galnce.

| well, they could be checking you out to see what you're looking for in a relationship, long term or short term? I know I asked my fiance' many questions before I proposed, which was 3 months after we met (physically). The difference with us is that we are inseparable and talk on the phone more than 8 hours a day, send each other emails, and now we live together after 4 months. I've never found any woman to be even close to being like her.We dont plan when the marriage will take place, but we do act as though we are already married. I've been married before (3X) but what difference would that make if you fall in love with someone. A good relationship isnt based on sex alone, its for the long term effects of friendship and companionship. Someday we wont have the ambition we once had for making love and once thats gone...what will you have left? Will that be the time to say goodbye and move on....and look back to see how you wasted your life? I was told once by a wise older woman, dont judge til you're wronged, til then enjoy what you have to offer and receive. Based on the type of friendship you desire and what you're getting from the other person, its ok to say no thanks and move on rather than lead him/her on and later saying up yers. Great friends will have disagreements, but their bonds will keep them together. Stick around...you might learn something....when you stop learning is when you should be alone.
