| I read your profile and your blogs. You seem like a well adjusted man with a big heart. The most important part of my life are my animals and I'm involved in rescue too. I applaud your efforts. I think the right woman will appreciate the "friends first" philosophy. I'm afraid too many people want "instant" relationships.
You mentioned you have cut your hair and are considering shaving your beard. I generally prefer a clean shaven or a neat mustache.At a certain point in life the Grizzly Adams look tends to be aging rather than a statement. This is jmo and others may disagree. Of course, embarking on a new stage in life sometimes begs for changes. The changes can even be cathartic .
