| My Daughter lost her mother Feb 17,06 Today is my wife`s birthday and my youngest wanted to have this day special like all of us together.Her sister lives in Missouri,I in Mt.Pleasant her in Holt we were all together three days ago.The kids can`t understand the price of gas is high I can`t do anything together today.I told her to write a letter to her mother and burn it the smoke will send it to heaven she says she just can`t.I need prayer for her hurting soul today I can`t be with her.

| Lost that is a great idea we did that with my niece and nephews when my husband died they wrote the letters and we tied them to the ballons and let them go right up to heaven it helped them a lot

| lost that sounds like a better idea I think I`ll have my sister help her with that tonight thanx ppl I told her there is nothing wrong with asking God to give a message to her mother but she sounded like it was to much to face I wish I could hug her I told her to call me back when she needs too.

| Lost and Kfab~ funny you say that. My girlfriends niece(5 yrs old) was really taking it hard when her grandmother died. After the funeral she insisted we go to the store. When we asked her why, she said "because we have to buy gramma Mary a pack of war butts(cigarettes)and tie them to a balloon and let it go so that she can smoke in heaven".
We were in tears not only from the sad occasion but from the idea that the kid came up with. Once we did it, she was happy as could be.

| THANK-YOU God showed up right on time.While I was writing this thread she wrote a letter to her mother and did the first idea with the smoke ,whatever works.Then she told me how she prayed for the kids at school to leave her alone last week and to her surprise they did and a girl she thought would never apologize did .It makes me happy when God meets us half way.Thank-you every one- deadheadI`ll check out the thread on Duncon last I heard he was given motrin/salve for his face and anti-biotics for his ears
