ST. PETERSBURG, Florida (Reuters) - A woman who ran a prostitution ring catering to Washington's elite hanged herself in a storage shed at her mother's home in Florida on Thursday while awaiting sentencing, police said.
Police in the Gulf Coast town of Tarpon Springs said the 76-year-old mother of Deborah Jeane Palfrey woke from a short nap and began to search for her daughter. She found Palfrey's body hanging from a nylon rope looped around a metal beam in the shed alongside her mobile home, police said.

| My guess would be murder....lets face it...conviction or not...would have been a sweet book deal.
But, my guess is irrelevant. I will bet $1...that within a year...no one will know her name. Who ever took her out...did it in plain sight....which is quite often a good strategy....
Sucks for her though.

Lets take a look at the trail...Brandy Britton
(the girl that might have been with cheney) also commited suicide. Palfrey stated that Britton was a very happy person and had no reason to commit suicide.
During several recent appearances on The Alex Jones Show, Palfrey conceded that she was at risk of being killed and that authorities would make it look like suicide. She made it clear that she was not suicidal and if she was found dead it would be murder.
This lady had degrees in serveral fields, if i'm not mistaken. Seems to be a well spoken lady with a touch of wild.

| This is a BIG issue, I know it sounds trivial, but this is BOGUS, for a whole lot of reasons.
I just watched a documentary about this family owned brothel in new orleans, and this sounds like the exact same story,
The problem is, Prostitution is NOT a crime that the people feel is a crime. and for the most part they discard it.
This is true of some drugs too, like Pot and cocaine. people don't think smoking pot is any worse in reality than drinking, If you take the ilegal factor out of it, most of them would do it, and would probably benefit.
and while the people don't see it as a true crime, the penalties are outrageous, so people do these things feeling morally fine with it, but then the government gets involved, ( because they profit) and / or the press, or the police whatever, and all of the sudden, they are fight or flight, live or die, desperate, and they do crazy things. They Think their lives are over, when in really the way they conduct their life is being forced to change.
everything has to be destroyed to be rebuilt, or changed.
The Problem is us allowing the government to legislate their moraltiy, and we allow the advertisers to profit from selling us the very things that will make us commit the crime in the first place. desire is the cornerstone on which the advertising world is built on.
why should it be wrong for a woman to rent out her body, the government doesn't think it is wrong for her to compensated for sex if a RAPE occurs, But she can't do it willingly. It is a screwed up double standard, and this is how you get rid of those. It is Karma

| She DID NOT commit suicide. That is cover-up news for being murdered to be forever silenced. She was a very nice sharp intelligent woman running a legitimate business who had infromation on people in high places that were cheating and lying. Anything the mainstream news tells you is a lie and you can count on it. You can always tell the suckers who believe the mindsucker TV.
