| Hello fellow Taurus....
I just want to say I don't think there is anything really wrong with your
profile. You might want to take some suggestions though and just add to
it a bit. More of what you are looking for and more of what you enjoy doing.
I know, being one, that Taureans are warm and loving people and usually do
love animals. There are tons of women on here that love animals so do not
listen to that comment about your dog eating you, etc. That is just plain
ridiculous.  Your dog is wonderful and I commend you for adopting
a racing greyhound. I have cared for many of them in my Petsitting business and they
are wonderful dogs. Personally, I don't trust people  that don't like animals
so that is one of my first questions.
The smoking thing would be a problem for me if I were looking for someone
though since I am an ex-smoker myself. I think you need to quit...for
your own health!! Do it NOW! I found the only way was to do it cold turkey.
Cutting down never worked for me. I quit back in the 80's and have never
picked a cigarette up since...so I could not be with someone that smoked.
Granted being Buddhist is unusual...but maybe if you put something in your
profile that explained that more, what it means to you or why you embraced it
or something along the lines of being tolerant and open to other faiths...that would take care of that question, if it even is a question to someone.
Other than that..join in here and get to know people. Its fun and entertaining
too at times! Ha! Ha! Good therapy too...
And lastly...WELCOME!

when i was 10, there was a lady that had tons of dogs. but she was poor. proberbly spent her money on those dern dogs, anyways... as kids we would ride by her house real fast because the dogs would chase after us. but one day...
we rode real fast , but da.. there was an awful smell coming from the house. we figured it was a dog that upt and croaked. it wasn't though
it was that lady, and her dogs almost ate her completely....
so yea i love dogs for dogs, but i also know they will eat you when they are hungry...

| Welcome to our world...I didn't see any problem with your profile....I've read all the comments...I think folks have given you a bunch of good ideas.
A thought just came to mind...but, ya gotta realize that I'm a student of comparative religions....I've traveled to Buddhist countries, but truly know very little about it. I bet you're a walking textbook on it, so, why not take a subject that is of such great interest and WRITE A BLOG ABOUT IT. A blog is just your thoughts put in print...many people will then have a better idea of who you are.

PS. I have a cat, but love lots of animals. However, I don''t smoke and my profile says I won't be kissing anyone who does. Do you have any idea how strong tobacco odor is when you're up close and snuggling with someone?

| I like the photo with the dog in it. Not everyone is against animals in a photo!! I think it shows a bit about that persons personality. What you wrote was nice but imo your profile would come across better with some color or maybe music to show that side of your personality. Need any help in that dept. I'll be glad to help.
You could send some hello emails to the ladies that spark your interest...then maybe one day you will have someone to share the party mix with. Good Luck to you....

Knittin, I will think about the Buddhist blog. Might be intersting. I was raised Episcopalian and was with Disciples of Christ church for about 8 years. Buddhism came along for me a few years ago and seemed to mesh with the way I live my life and the way I want to live it. 
Coppermare, noticing the belief that I want to feel the music, not just learn the words to the song...that sets you apart from many others. Some people I have told that to look at me with that blank look. I know they don't get it, but you do. By the way, I rode an Appalusa mare named Cinder because of her copper markings for a number of years. Love the hat, thought mine is Australian.
