| At age 48...I have come to accept that men are men and women are women. Never going to change it and you pick your battles.As time advances, the traditional standards of dating and respect are fading fast. Although....I still experience dating very nice gentlemen who take pride in how to date a woman. Some women refuse to allow the traditional style of dating from a man. That is their choice, but as for me...I like being treated feminine and special. Doesn't happen often, but when it does, it feels good. I like men actually, just not all of them!
Yeah, some can be real jerks, but not all men are like that. Women can be just as bad. The bottom line is not that they are men, it is what they are like as a human being. Gender is not an excuse for most jerky actions. It is personality and what lies in their heart that people act the way they do.
I told my daughters...it is just the way it is, so make good decisions and make sure you can live with it or should I say "him".
