Would you or could you really get serious with them
Or am I just a stick-in-the-mud old fashion?
When I was 26 I started dating a barely 18 year old  (I ask for his ID first) was with him for over 7 years. But don't know about now.
What age spread would you go??
I still use that as a guide- 8 years older or younger.
I've just now decided I THINK I want to date again.
Suggestions PLEASE!!!

| It has to do with who makes you happy more than age. 2 people the same age can have completely different maturity levels and life experiences. I would say it is more of an individual basis. Good Luck.

| its too hard to put a limit on a age, you really have to judge each person individualy. i know a 25 yr old i would date in a heart beat... but i also know a 28 yr old that drives me crazy cause he still acts like such a kid.

| Never would I date someone my kids age, My oldest is 21 & although I've been approached by many, My answer will always be the same, "boy I could be your mama" 
I don't think you're a stick in the mud, Of course I'm also considered very old fashioned in my ways, just doesn't seem quite right to me. I like the more mature men anyway myself.

| My son is 10 years old so that's out. I've dated one man who is 18 years younger than me. Got stood up for the 1st time by two different men who were 21 years younger than me. My 1st X is 10 years older than me. So age doesn't make a difference but the maturity of person does make a difference. The gentleman I am with long distance is 6 years younger than me. If it doesn't bother them, then it doesn't bother me.

| NOPE, not going there. I married one that was 9 and a half years younger then me, and hes was 7 years older then my son. Needless to say that didn't work out

| I won't date someone more than a COUPLE of years younger than me; and after my ex (he was 9 yrs. older), I swore I would not do that again. But may be changing my mind about that one. It definately depends on the person.

| tried this once, for a few yrs...the first couple were good... the last one not so good. a large age difference does make a difference. at least when u get out of bed anyway!!!!
