| Hi 1st friendship!.. I feel for you because you hit a chord of my past relationships with others. For me, in my journey, I have helped others and have been hurt by them in the same form as described by this thread and frankly, I realized that I was learning about myself and my inner self. I learned that I was a giving individual who was unselfsih. This is my nature and I can not change myself; only deal with the actions that I can do to potentially minimize my hurt. So before I expend my time of healing another, I ask myself, is this worth it? Is this person giving as well? Does this person show acts of compassion and kindness with his/her heart and soul? Ask, Communicate, and reach out for these actions before you give more demonstrations of your gifts of good will, the next time.. and hopefully, you can Spread your kindness to the many who are starved! Smile. We all need loving, care and respect..

| sounds like what happened to a guy named togot, he took in a girl and took care of her and everything when she really needed help, then all of a sudden she toook off with the x dead beat boyfriend. i remember reading his post about it, so sounds like it happens more than we think
sorry it happend to you, you seem like a really good man and someday the right woman will come along and appreciate that fact

| When you are a friend to someone, you help them through things and tell them things that are beneficial to them. You do this because you are their friend, not for an ulterior motive.
If you did those things to turn her towards you and away from someone else, that is not friendship, that is trying to start a relationship. True friends do for each other without any expectation of any type of aknowledgement.
So, were you her friend or were you waiting for your chance to make your move? Those two are polar oppisites.

| Hi, Mame...I do understand your concern...(I told her in tha beginning, I don't won't to be part of this...and her issues). Her mother and I see her tha same way(hard-headed, does whatever she wants to and takes sound wisdom offencesive...go figure). What I told her Helped her...ofcourse(alot). This is not tha first time neither. Gets on her feet and gives you her A** to kiss.

|  If the help really came with your best intentions....and no other motives...then I don't see how you can be upset about...be sure you know your motives......The truth always hurts....But you first have to be truthful with yourself....Were you really trying to help??? or were you trying to help yourself in the process??
