1. Love yourself first
2. Know who you are
3. Build off of your strengths - everyone has strengths
4. Don't worry about what other people think of you be confident in yourself
5. Improve on your weaknesses whatever they may be

This should jump start you

I second the advice from TheBestMan! Don't let one rejection get you down - love yourself, respect yourself and life your life fully - awareness and happiness rock!

Regain self-esteem??????

Step one....never let someone strip anything that you value about yourself.

When you are happy to be you...the other steps don't mean shit.

Do the next right thing....and remember it.

Don't let other's actions toward you change your opinion of yourself.

Stay active and let your friends build you up during tough times.

And as much as this may want to make you want to hurl, going through tough emotional times without running away from the pain makes us stronger. If nothing else we learn not to be as afraid of the pain, and we grow because of that experience. It just doesn't seem to feel that way while we are going through it.

Thanks. I guess it's about looking within and not looking at others, depending on others for it otherwise you will wind up seeing yourself as they see you.

YEP, Krupa has it right!
Don't let any one strip you of your own self esteem!!!
Remember that you do have people who love you (children?? Mother?? Dad??) and you ARE a good person.
I wouldn't go so far as bestman, only because it is to deep when you are down. When you get the first feelings under control, you can go on to others...
