It's been one of those days...Cracked a head on my motorhome's engine. Broke a piece of expensive equipment at work. Opened an e-mail that was a ebomb virus. Dog swallowed keys to the car. Smashed thumb in motorhome door and my dog bit me. To top it all off I went to bed alone, yet again. I know it sounds like a bunch of boo hoo, People need to do that from time to time. It's just been one of those days. Everyone has them. So I really don't feel sorry for myself because tomorrow is another day.

List a bad day and what you did or thought about it to overcome.

Try living by an X that just can't leave you alone, & has his girlfriend with him all the time, the same one he cheated on me with, but refuses to let me live my own life. Of course once our daughter comes home, he's invisible. Sometimes, I hate even pulling out of my own driveway. It seems like I know the courthouse better than my own house. If only it were as simple as just moving.

My question is, What is a good day anyway?

Yep.. one of those days.. remember it quite well.. lawn mower broke down.. so I moved my car to the front of the garage and the van behind it so I could buy a new lawn mower and put it in the van. I went inside to put a load of laundry in the dryer to dry and told the kids I was going to get a new lawn mower. Went to start the van... it won't start. The starter went out of it.. had to call a tow truck.. while waiting on it went inside to get the laundry and fold it.. It was all still wet, the dryer belt broke.. Couldn't take car cause van was parked behind it.. Tow truck shows up and takes the van in.. I take the car to get the lawn mower and the ac starts making a wierd noise.. turn it off.. pick up a dryer belt and new lawn mower, got home. Put new lawn mower together but too late to mow.. Mechanic calls van is done.. Costs 175 bucks.. take car and switch them out. Mechanic says it's the a/c compressor gonna cost over 700 .. I decide to do without air in the car for a while. Get home, change the dryer belt.. by the way you take the front off of the dryer not the back.. I learn it the hard way. Finish that and go upstairs for a cool shower and a break.. My cat had kittens on my bed... ick what a mess. Take the stuff off of the bed and the mattress goes out... bring guest bedroom mattress upstairs to my room and wash more laundry.. Get in the shower. fall on my ass.. my son had dumped all the shower gel in the bottom of the shower.. Slicker than snot on ice I say.. bust head open ... didn't go to dr.. just let it stop bleeding.. finish shower.... By the way did I mention I was married to a soldier who was deployed to Iraq?.. He calls.. decided he found his soulmate online and wants a divorce... Ta da..I sat down and laughed my ass off.. then tore his favorite leather gordon jacket to shreds...

Sunday morning I stepped in crap on my way out the door to work. 15min later my laptop bag slipped off my shoulder onto my forearm which was holding my full 16oz cup of coffee and ejected it all over the entrance of the model home in which I work at.
That's a pretty normal morning for me.
Fortunately i find mornings like that hysterically funny.

Yesterday - allergies hit hard over night woke up head pounding so hard the water in the shower gave me a headache, which had me waking up b*tchy and hostile, I was late for work, and the garage door opener was being uncooperative so I was trapped in my underground garage, until I discovered the damn batteries had died. Only had to rip open five remote controls to find the right size battery for the opener. In my car speeding to work and got behind a funeral procession - they had the right of way so I sat, stewing. The day began to heat up to 80 with 90% humidity so by the time I arrived at school all the two year olds were sweaty, and sticky and also cranky...now ind and no air conditioning soon had 10 two year olds with diarrhea and 2 vomiting ont he play ground, one bit another and the other threw bark chips down one little girls shirt until she looked like she had gone through a wood chipper....Lunch time!!! And one of the little boys threw up in his lunch plate right in the middle of the table of 10 so they all began to throw up in a chain reaction....that was fun and did I mention the finger painting with the little girl who had poop running down her sleeve and all over her wrist?

I wondered where the brown finger paint came from?

How did I get over it?

I smiled.

I mean how could you not?

They're so damn cute and adorable.
And in the middle of it all one of the little boys - one of my favorites although I try to not have a favorite....

Hugged me and kissed my cheek - really mushy and then told me he was a big brother and Mommy had a baby sister! (No, it's a BOY - but he wanted a girl so he's calling the little brother a sister....)

Now that's just too funny not to enjoy it.

I also swallowed 1500mg of Tylenol XS and a Reese's peanut butter cup
It made everything look happier!

....think I'll take Dennis Miller's advice____and get a smaller glass. Then I'll not have to concern myself with whether its 1/2 full or 1/2 empty.

Things are just going so well of late...it does make me (sometimes) wonder when its going to come to a screeching halt.

NAH! Its going to just continue.

Today my good friend and deskmate, Evil Rat, died. I came home from grocery shopping and he was lying on top of his house, still warm but dead.

It kills me that when he needed me, I was gone. It kills me that he had to die alone, and probably afraid.

Whats even worse is that this morning he was just fine, playing outside with me. I don't know how he died. I only know that this is one of the worst days I can remember.

I loved him very much.
