| Id does seem that way alot of the time. But there are actually people that your weight will not mean everything to. As hard as it is, you have to just keep looking. Hope you find what your looking for.

| yeah i feel the same way, and im not going to lie a nice ass is a thing of beauty, but i have always paid more attention to attitude than looks.
I always try to be upbeat and have a fairly high confidance level, and i dont let it get to me, because good things come to those that wait......and wait.......and wait.....

| well I have found that on these dating sites more so weight does seem to matter..they judge by a picture and pass you by
everyone wants the perfect outside then they realize down the road the inside is not so great
us bigger people have our gift on the inside and there is just More to love of us
but its hard unless you actually meet first and see the personality

| some people it does matter to others it does not im a big guy and I have dated big and small girls. Ut does count alot of whats on the inside but there also have to be some attractive feelings towards a person as wellNot saying someone can not become attracted to you by your personaloty i have seen it happen it has happened to me.

| I think that most people that are over weight just assume that that is the reason that they are being overlooked on the dating scene. I'm sure that to some degree it is correct but everyone has there preference to many different features of the human. How do you know that it is not the colour of your hair. Perhaps it is just your attitude toward your weight. If you will take notice there are plenty of very fine figured woman on this sight as well. So if your not happy with your weight then change it you do have the power. Perhaps getting off the pitty pot to start would be a great idea. Maybe they dont like the shape of your nose. JMO

| to some yes but to others no...everyone has a preference as to what type of man or woman they wanna date but if the person thinks that looks is all its about then your better off without them anyway..the heart is what counts and it never changes but the looks will in time...if a man can't lay beside me without thinking of my weight and wish i was skinny then he'll never know what he's missin out on..

I think some people add weight as insulation from the outside world.
I come from a family of overweight parents and an older brother who suffers the after effects of not taking care of his body. He's never smoked or drank. He's battling cancer.
He's an overweight, type A personality.
I'm an ex smoker.
I quit when I was approaching 3 packs a day.
That was about 18 years back.
I don't miss smoking.
I'm also an ex postal worker.
I quit when I hit my supervisor in the face with a handful of mail.
I don't miss the stress.
For the most part, I don't find overweight ladies attractive. That being said, I find some of them VERY ATTRACTIVE after I get to know them.
I'm gonna go out on a limb here......
If YOU think YOUR weight is a problem, then it's a problem.
You should probably do something about it.
For YOU.
