| ruining serious threads for others? If you don't like something, why not back out of the thread and leave it alone? 
Please only serious replys to this.
Many of us would like to start a group for the animal lovers on DH. We were trying to find out how much support there would be and  a few of you not so nice people decided to ruin the thread and it was deleted. Please allow those of us who are serious to post what we want to say without the negative comments. I never even got to see how many were in favor of it.
Please only reply if your answer is yes, that you would support a group for animal lovers.
This group can be about any kind of animal, maybe you work in rescue or have interesting stories about an animal that isn't your pet.
I noticed there is a pet lovers group but no one has posted to it since last November.
Thanks to those of you who emailed me personally and I welcome all those who are interested to do the same in case this thread gets out of hand again with people who have nothing else to do with their time.

| I love my animals and they have been one part of my life that never cheated or lied to me, and many of my friends ainmals have been with them through thick and thin. Now is some people don't understand that well thats fine but if they don't feel that way why should they try to impose their feeling on those that do. Personally if my animals don't like a particular human I usually find out why, maybe they are just too good of judges of character?

| Daddyduck, my granny always said that kids and animals know. I'm like you, if my animals don't like you there's a reason and I trust my animals. I think an animal lovers group is a wonderful idea.

| My pets have always enjoyed the status of "part of the family". I would happily support a group dedicated to the health, well being and happiness of all animals. Count me IN!

|  corbinsgaga, I Have 4 dogs and 2 cats, They were from abusive homes! Sheba-Black lab/chow she's 12 yrold, Chainsaw-A polmer....? Little dog, Big mouth! he's 16, Amy & Izzy=Sisters-Amy's greyhound/chow and Izzy's chow/..? There 7, The 2 cats are Coco & Alyson-Coco is a rare breed that turns pink in the summer he's 11, And Alyson is a small tabby 9mo.old. And all of them try to sleep on my bed with me.

| ghostman, all my animals are rescue animals, the cat came from our local shleter here and both my "boys" came from private rescues. I volunteer at our local animal shelter and am also one of the chairpersons for our annual fund raiser for the shelter. We have a bike run every year called hogs for dogs and we are on our 3rd year now and each one has been more successful than the last. I am a very strong advocate for animals who have been abused or neglected. It's a true passion for me.

I don't know why others ruin serious threads. That is the only reason I've ever blocked someone from posting. Sure anyone has the right to post but manners is a must. jmo
Well that only brings one other thing to mind and EWWW Not a culture thing, is
