| This may be a cold and callous thing to say but do what I have done over the years and just learn to harden your heart and make it cold. I refuse to be hurt again. Its actually paid off some recently. When it happened I was able to say f*ck it and move on instead of walking around with a poor pitiful face or lying in the bed under the covers.
May be a bad way to go through life but its just how I operate now.

I haven't read your profile yet, but I just wanted to say that I too can walk away from a relationship that isn't working with out dwelling on it.... Tho I hope you can the find the way to doing it without "hardening your heart." An open heart, reflects an open soul & eyes .... which in turn "shows" that one is availble emotionally & willing to love and give unconditionally. And in my opinion, there is no greater gift!

I don't think the statement you said was out there at all. I know sometimes I might need to let my heart do the thinking and not my head.
Its just that that is the sickest feeling in the world when you are hurt by the one you love. You know that gut wrenching feeling.
Okay, I'll email you and get furthur info. I'm on pain meds right now for major oral surgery I had today and may not make much sense.

| It is hard to forget that you still love them when their image, touch, smell, feel is burned so deep in your brain, you can't get rid of it. But, I want to be happy and he was not the one that was going to take me there.
You need to have courage to be happy. When I love someone, I give them my whole heart and I can't change that. So, will I get hurt again? Probably, but I will never regret the awesome feeling of being in love.
