In my life, sometimes the only way I can speak is body language, sometimes only through art and sometimes I just write. Here is a place that I will do just that.

My Girl

The little girl inside
tucks away her grin
because she has to hide
or it'd be construde a sin

Inside a foreign residence
she's forced to settle down
With not much hesitance
she masks her frown

Her thoughts are of another time
When home is where she loved to be
Not some strung up mime
With just a dream to be free

Mama isn't fogotten at all
for this girl is strong
She knows enough to stand up tall
for what has happened is all wrong

Keeping inside that hidden grin
isn't easy and it's sad
It only takes one look within
To know the love we had

I LOVE YOU GIRL... always and forever

Timid... 5/08

Thank you in advance to all who visit my whispy writings...

Written to my son at a point during his teenage years when he thought no one cared.

Young man,
The day I knew I was pregnant
I wore a smile, wide across my face
for inside my body,
a new life was taking place.

I'm so glad this happened
You mean so much to me

I know I'm just a mother
that's all I'll ever be.

I'm tryin hard to do my best
My dear
you'll just have to do the rest

by this I'm admitting
there is only so much that I can do
but Darling when it comes to behaving
it's your life inside the shoe

So please don't make my smile
Turn into a big frown
Think about your behaviour
turn you life around

I know that you can do this,
You're as smart as smart can be
after all is said and done

You're the life from inside of me

Love Mom

My son... a true original piece of art! He made it through and now tries to help youths in trouble by supporting their lives with positives... We all have them!!!

Those are beautiful words, I like writing poetry too.

I wrote this poem when my dear best friend passed away suddenly.

You truly were an angel
Sent from GOD in heaven above
Your shocking death just broke the hearts
Of everyone you loved
When I found out that you had died
I thought that they were wrong
You were so alive and then just like that
You were gone
A flame blown out in seconds
Confirming our worst fears
A light that shines no more on earth
For which we shed many tears
But still you are my beacon
And I need you right now
You hear all the prayers I say
Because they are answered somehow
I wish that you could be here
But in a way you are
Your symbol of a rose goes
everywhere with me
So I know you can't be far
It still is quite a shock to me
that you had to die
But no one will forget you
And I love you and goodbye.

I wrote this as a teenager:

Star Dreaming

I wander through the stars at night
wishing you were here
dreaming of hugging and kissing you
just to hide my fear

If ever this would be true
what would I do

I keep it with the memories
that you have share with me
and build more love for you
than thought could ever be

Then when about to burst
There would be another
That would make us
Three

S. Anderson 1987

It's not that it rhymes but I guess in some ways, I have always been a dreamer. As a young person, I thought that people in love would always be bonded together by a child. Not because things would always be easy, but that there is no greater love, than that.
Growing up can break certain fantasies... but can stregthen others.
