| My dog (lh chichuaha) is always scavenging for food although we feed him plenty so I decided to give her an ice to mock her and see if she'd know the difference, what'd she do. Sure enough she took it and took to it like any tangible food. lol

| I remember reading about some guy who has a dog but was having trouble with his ice maker in his refrigerator. The guy found water on the floor so he called the repair service. The repair person came out and didn't find anything wrong. It happened again so the guy called the repair service again. This time the repair person stood there and watched for awhile. The guy's dog would jump up to make the ice come out of the ice maker and eat the ice off the floor ... that's why the floor was wet. Problem solved ... too bad the guy didn't find this out before paying for a repair call not needed

| I dropped some ice cubes in my dogs bowls. They sniffed them, then looked at me with a "What? You think I'm going to eat that?" look. After they melted...the dogs went by and licked up the water.

| I don't have a dog, but my cat loves ice. If you give him a cube of ice he will first lick it then bat it around on the floor till it is all melted. Then he will sit there and beg you for another ice cube.

| I've had 2 danes in the last 8 years, and one of their favorite treats was frozen chicken wings. It's good for them and helps to clean the tartar off of the teeth too!
