The safest way is to meet somewhere public and go in separate cars. You can ask her what she prefers. Maybe go to dinner at her favorite place where she knows the people who work there. Tell her you want to meet her but want her to feel comfortable about it.

Those kind of situations you just have to come out and ask. Make sure you ask her in a way that makes her feel comfortable. Give her the option of location where the meet will happen.
If she is comfortable meeting you, do not give her the option. Instead, impress her with a nice place you know.
The first anything in a relationship is not easy.

Keep in mind if you keep the situation the way it is-she may move on.
Also,
