| here's a story that made me laugh my a$$ off.
{A few years ago, a man decided to commit suicide. He was really quite unhappy with his life, and hence was very dedicated to his cause. So, after writing a suicide note, he proceeeded to purchase some rope, a can of gasoline, some poison and a revolver. Indeed, his plans were to tie the rope around his neck and a tree, take the poison, set himself on fire, and jump off a cliff to be hung, shooting himself while in midair.
So, he jumped, and lit himself on fire. Things were going as planned until he missed his own head with the revolver, severing the rope in the process. Hence, he fell into the ocean below the cliff, putting out the fire. Meanwhile, while choking and sputtering in the water, the man managed to vomit out the poison he had ingested. Disheartened, the man decided to swim back to shore.
However, the story comes to a "happy end", depending on how you look at things, as the man died six hours later of complications from hypothermia suffered while swimming back to his safety.}
and it got me thinking of creative ways to kill myself. we all know the old stuff, hinging, shooting yourself and cutting your wrists, but i want to hear some original ideas, or even new twists on the classics, like jumping of a building, but first swallowing a bunch of nitroglycerin! come on people, embrace your dark sides, you might like it

| well this is to help me come up with ideas for my story "the suicidal immortal" I've done 23 chapters but i am running out of ways for him to try and kill himself. it's very popular on ficwad and i don't want to disappoint my readers. is that positive enough for you?
besides there is already enough positive crap here, i'm trying to provide some counterweight to balance things out

| for the love of Satan's a$$ crack you people are serious and uptight, loosen up a little, i just want inventive ways to commit suicide. it's not like i'm talking about smashing babies on rocks...though that might be a neat display for this Halloween

| then why did you come into this discussion? the topic heading is pretty clear. you could, oh i don't know, not have come in to read this. and it's a dating site and i'm looking for someone who shares my interest, this is one of my interests so it is on the right sight.

| Wow what a subject killing yourself in different ways your life must suck.I have a good idea why don't you live your life and fight for whatever is making you want to put an end to life.Suicide is the easy way out.Life did'nt come with an instuction manual deal with whatever it is and move on buddy.I must think happy thoughts.

| Jessie, you must think happy thoughts? your joy must be pretty fragile. and i already said i wanted ideas for a story, not for myself. i already know how i want to kill myself. did you guys even read the story up above? come on that was pretty damn funny. you all must know at least one amusing suicide attempt story? my friend's uncle tried to jump off a damn (not very original, but wit it gets better) he lands in the water and isn't hurt at all. not one to be discouraged he goes up and tries again..this time he knocks himself out and it looks like he will get his wish, but he landed next to a boat with an off duty firefighter, police officer and paramedic on a fishing trip! the three men haul him out of the water and resuscitate him, AND ARREST HIM! now you have to admit that that is hilarious.
