I usually vote straight democratic ticket. I do consider republican if I do not like the democratic candidate, but I'm not sure I could go with McCain this year. We are truly in need of a change right now.

Near as I can tell all that say they wish to vote for change are only changeing the race or gender of the president and not much more except much higher taxes and more government in your lives. A change is Ron Paul Thats it!!!!

HA! If Ron Paul really wanted to seriously been considered for president, then he should have associated himself with one of the two main parties. At this point in time there is not a place for an independent party. I would love to see a viable third party in the future, but all Ron Paul did with his run, was to make a political statement. He may be a stepping stone for a third party in the future, but as far as a serious candidate, he was out before he got started. He had some great ideas, but I can't throw away my vote like that.

Yes you will be throwing your vot away, as you have no one worthy of it. unless Bob Barr gets on the independent? And I'm not ready for him yet. Ron Paul is still on the Republican ticket, will this change? don't know but will probibly have to write him in in the fall. But he is not droping out and says he tried once at the independent and is just going to stay with the republican party. So far as I can tell the Repubican base is not going with McCain yet, their is an awfull lot of votes for someone yet.

Sorry star, I didn't realize that Paul was republican. It's been so long since I have heard anything about him. Honestly, I don't know how McCain got the rep nomination. He is supports everything that Americans are sick of, and he sounds like a wimp when he talks about it.

Well you got McCains number right and Oboma or Hillary is far worse so for me Ron paul is all I have and feel good about it. Just a hopeing when america does vote they vote for what is right not who they have ben told who will win.

Obama seems to have a little of the wimp factor, but he is probably just trying to keep his integrity and not sink to a mudslinging level.

Now Clinton, on the other hand, is a fighter. If she doesn't win the nomination this year, you can garantee she will be back in four years.

Who is Bob Barr?

Obama will win, but Even if Hillary won, I would have voted for her.

I cannot believe these people that are saying people will jump parties????

There are alot of people converting to democrat from Republican.

but the majority of voters that are accounting for the success of Obama, comes from people that have never paid a single bit of attention to politics, but things are so bad, they are desperate, and Obama is different than the rest.

He is a constitutional Law Professor, that means his values rest with the Constitution. and he understands the proccess to set things right. Law is a game of smoke and mirrors, phrasing a few words wrong, in a Supreme court case, changes Federal Law, and not being able to voice those civil issues with the proper Intention has allowed the Executive Branch and the Legislative Branch to hijack our nation for their own greedy purposes. Obama will be able to readjust that.

The problem isn't that the government doesn't work, it perfectly serves it's purpose, they have been allowed to manipulate the system so that it's goal is no longer the health and wellfare of the people, but rather of the corporations. They convinced us that a strong corporate america, is a strong america, and all they did was redefine america as corporations rather than people.

Big difference.

he already has enough votes to beat McCain on his own, without Hillary.

most of these votes that have made up this crazy record turnout, it's the primaries!.

These are NEW Voters, and NEVER, in the history of America, have more people voted in the primaries than in the general election.

Mccain and the Republican Party are on their way out, and they know it.

McCain blew it when he didn't run as an independent years ago. If he had, we wouldn't be in the mess we are in, but he remained faithful to the party and George Bush. I don't believe in a two party system and it's about time they change it and give us more choices.
