Orchard, if they go that far on the 1st IM. Take it with a grain of salt. If a guy is truly interested his actions will speak volumes . Try to reserve yourself until you find someone honest and willing to make the effort

Quote from orchard4u:
Thank you hunnybunny and gruntster. That helps some. Sure does make one wonder about the people in this world. Some I guess can be real sick. Thank you again and God Bless

Is his loss not yours.....

Funny thing, blocks .. sounds like you asked for something he was scared to give up, or throughout the conversaton you picked apart his deception but you ignored it, perhaps naivëly on your part, and he felt trapped.

I do my best to avoid feeling trapped by presenting women here with courtesies and flattery, and if things get a bit serious, I let down the truth of my not-so-wonderful life.
Funny how the truth frees me, and the women who suspected anyway (read between the lines on my profile) are relieved I finally chose to tell them what they aren't so concerned with anyway, as long as I'm dealing with it on a day-by-day basis.

So get over it .. his loss, fool that he is.

To my knowledge, no one has blocked me, but there is no way to know if the courtesies are suspended anyway.
And I haven't had the dubious pleasure myself

Is it possible it was an accident? Maybe he doesn't realize that he inadvertently blocked you and may not know to unblock you? I've never blocked anyone and am wondering if it gives you a warning box saying, "Are you sure you want to block this mamber?"

I had this happen to me a few times. I took me a while but I reached the point where I stopped trying to figure the other person out. My advice is to forge ahead, being yourself and keep trying with others who you find interesting and the one who is right for you and vice versa will come along. I guarantee what the result will be if you stop trying! Hang in there, smile and see who else appears interesting to begin communicating with.

What ever the reason, take it as sign. A sign that he is not the one. Don't take it personally, just thank you're lucky stars.

It hurts to be blocked by someone you care about( I know).....and sometimes you will never know why, just be assured that God has someone better in store for you!

More than likely the guy wasn't genuine. Consider it a good thing.
