I don't understand????

Why would a man block you after over a two hour wonderful conversation on IM and everything was great? Wrote poetry to me and lots of kisses. There were many great emails prior to the IM convesation also. ??? Not a "love scare" that was not projected.

What is up with this type of behavior???

There is no explaining it sometimes...he's crazy, he's really married, he's really gay, his girlfriend/wife/boyfriend/mom/? got a hold of his profile and zapped everyone that looked like a threat ?? Who knows...it sucks though...sorry...

I'm sooo sorry!! my guess is he just wasnt who he said he was..I wouldnt think about his past emails, or IM conversation because he wasnt his true colors..better to have it happen now I guess
I would just keep in mind you are smarter then him because you're honest and in the end you are the better person because of it...Its hard to trust other people moving forward, but all you can do is proceed with caution...eventually you WILL meet someone who wont do that to you again..
he's not worth the time or energy because he was never who he said he was..good luck, it'll happen for you!

I feel for you. After being here only a few weeks, it seems like that happens on a somewhat regular basis, based on other threads.

Don't know the reason, but there are a number of possibilities. Some positive, some negative.

Maybe you just dazzled him and he got frightened. So in that case the problem is not yours. And it does not reflect negatively on you.

It sucks that when someone rejects us, for any reason, that we seem to look at the negative and assume we are not worth it.

Chances are YOU ARE WORTH IT!!!! and don't forget that.

Of course, while I am saying these things to you, I need to hear them myself.

Well, time to saddle up and get to Wahoo's Fish Taco to play a gig.

I agree with gruntster and shoppers, something is wrong here...thank your lucky stars you found out now! You are WAAAAY to lovely and nice looking to put up with garbage. I was going to say lovely and nice, but since i do know you, I cannot say that. But I would think if he spent hours IM ing you, he felt that way...some rats have no odor till they die...

Maybe he figured since you only have one picture, and the rest are dogs and horses, he thought maybe it was not really you.

Try posting about 5 more pictures of yourself and I bet you'll get less blocking.

Sorry Orchard I have to agree with Beth on this one...it's sad to say but there are many fakes, trolls etc., on DH. Perhaps he received some "red flag" or something that made him back off and without more photos of you to confirm that you are what you say you are...? Pretty girl should have more than one photo?

Were you the one initiating the e-mails, IM etc?! Maybe you came on too strong, too fast?

Happened to me too! Twice - with the same guy. And I really liked him - or at least the person he projected online! He deleted his Yahoo accounts on me. Never heard from him again. Some people just have too much time on their hands, I guess.
