married once at the age of 21 because I was 8&half months preganet and thought to be in love, however I relized I was young, dumb, and full of cum! Yes I cheated on him. I have over these 20 some odd years come to relize I like my own time and space. I don't want someone to think they own me (hate to hear a woman being refered to as "the little old lady" "my other half" etc.) Now I say I can love a man and even if he is a king and has all the riches of the world to give me I would never marry again.

I DO believe that marriage is taking vows to swear and promise EVERYDAY that you will wake up and love this person beside you, and try to do everything that will make them happy and will do anything in your power to love you back.

I think marriage is a gift, not a daily torture.

Unfortunately, the marriage vows have become disposable...I still believe in the committment but not necessarily the piece of paper......

Marriage has become a contract with the state. If you doubt that, try spltting up a marriage. The state will determine the direction of the partners lives and the hapless pair will be ripped off by a legal system set up just to separate them from their property.

Marriage has little to do with love now and I do not believe that marriage is healthy for a relationship. Marriage is like sticking your head up a lions butt. For a while it's warm and comfy but sooner or later, you're going to get the Hell beaten out of you.

A RELATIONSHIP built on friendship can last forever if mutual respect and common courtesy are maintained, neither party lies or cheats and they communicate well.

I have a concern though. At work one day, I mentioned in a group that I have never cheated with or on anyone in my life and got a round of applause! Can cheating be that universal? Perhaps that's why marriage is such a mess!

Never been married but I believe! Reading these posts is actually scary for someone who hasn't been married and believes it can work! However, I think people who believe might as well look to marrying in a different culture where everyone (or almost everyone) is truly committed to making the union work and raising their kids in a complete home filled with love!

I am as liberal as anyone but I only want to get married once. I want to spend my life with someone that will love me forever.

"wise man say: you want a divorce? Just have kids before your relationship is ready"

they say money is leading cause of divorce but most people that get divorced had a kid before they had there own house from what I have read
