| I believe that a couple must make an all consuming committment to each other, deep from their hearts and souls. They must have and be passionate for each other to a fault. Will a piece of paper create that and keep a marriage together forever?? NO, but two people in love can stay together, with or without the paper.

| Seth you are a wise young man; but if you find someone special, don't let go no matter what. Make it work; divorce sucks.

| Commitment takes work. A piece of paper is no guarantee. I always wondered why the formality of getting married, then I met someone whom I actually wanted to be his wife. I can't imagine ever feeling that way again. I am older, much more cynical and hopefully wiser. I believe, but it takes two, always working it, always paying attention. A most challenging commitment if ever there was one.

Nothing wrong with trying to achieve this goal. Still a good goal ... you just gotta find someone who believes in this as well.

| Truthfully, I don't know what I believe in anymore! Maybe the right man could make me feel different, but right now, I'm seriously scared to death of the thought of marriage again!

| Made the comitment once. Lasted 23yrs. Been there, done that, sort of thing.
It would take a mighty strong attachment now, to make it happen again.
