Greetings and welcome to another incarnation of our favorite word game...
this level adds one more dimension to an otherwise arguably banal pastime.
Many have played our game and know the rules...
but for those of you who haven't and don't, they're simply this:
anyone playing can make their entry at any time...
you are strongly urged to refresh the page just prior to entering
((to know whether someone has already beaten you to the reply))...
your entry consists of a new word derived from the word CAPITALIZED from the last post entered...
you can come by your new word using any of the options listed below:
you may add ONE letter
......OR
you may subtract ONE letter
......OR
you may replace ONE letter with another
......OR
none of the above
......AND
just scramble all the letters, if you wish, to created your new word...
at any time you may split the current word into two consecutive words in the story:
for example: (current word).........."it was a MYSTERY to her"
...........(the next entry).........."then there was MY STORY... no easier to understand"
after a split, the next entry has the option of recombining...
(the next entry following MY STORY).........."her childhood was a STORMY beginning to a life"
……………………... OR ...
dropping one of the words and proceeding with the other...
(the next entry following MY STORY).........."and she MAY never fully understand...."
then place this word (in CAPITALS) in a context that flows with the story using as few other words as possible to get your meaning across...
place your reply at or near the top of your entry... and please feel free to use the remaining area in your entry to chat with friends made here...
