| I have had this happen to me one time, he called said he was on the way - never showed up. This was not our first date either. At least have the balls to say, something, I understand things can come up, but come on ppl. It's like a game for some ppl - if if couldn't make it, I sure as hell would make sure I called you. | That happens to people in 'real life' a lot also...it would depend on their reason for cancellation. Family, work, car trouble, etc. may sound like just an excuse, but, if you're the one in that position, it may not be trivial to you ... it's not always easy to put your 'life' on a back burner, to meet what you hope or assume to be a friend. A 'friend' would understand this and accept that your life doesn't revolve around them.

| That is just wrong that someone makes plans to meet and then either 1. they never show up or 2. they cancel make some excuse or 3. make another plan to talk or meet then it never happens. Some people just don't have the balls to be honest in life and have to jerk people around. I have had that experience with meeting someone more than once. Then I get all kinds of crap too just because of the way I look. People have to grow up! Get a life, I have more important things to worry about..like my children!!! Now if I cancelled it would be because of an emergency with my kids because of their special needs. That is a reasonable excuse. Others need to quit playing games.
