I am recently out of a 2 and a half year relationship that unfortunately didn't work out. Well, I like to cook, (learned while I was married or would have starved LOL NO SERIOUSLY!) just about anything. Imagine waking up to the smell of blueberry muffins in the oven, and bacon and eggs frying on the stove. And I make really good bacon. Or perhaps biscuits and gravy, or pancakes eggs and sausage, OR LOL vanila and cinnamon french toast in lieu of pancakes or muffins?? And YOU didn't have to get up and make it. Hows that fancy ya? LOL Maybe steaks on the grill or chicken over an open fire.
There is an old saying that hard work never killed anyone, thats not true, lol but I have never let that stand in my way. I am not afraid of hard work. I do it all the time. I like to get the job done first and get it out of the way and then have playtime. And I live by the motto, "If the jobs worth doing, it's worth doing right", and I try to get it right the first time, because I do not like redoing things. You already know about the cooking, LOL but I am handy all around the house, yard and garage. I will tackle most jobs if I feel I can handle it and it's not covered under warrenty. I will not start something I believe is over my head though. If a head gasket blows out on my car or truck and it is no longer covered under warrenty, I'll tear the motor down myself and fix it. If an automatic transmission needs a major overhaul, it goes to the shop. I know my limits, but I prefer to fix things myself. Then I know who did the work, and I don't pay someone to stand and look at my car an extra hour and charge me for it. I never went to college, but I could have gotten an Ind. Electronics degree right out of high school with the classes I took there, but as a teen, I didn't feel like bothering to take the extra tests out at Wright State to get it. Boy, when I look back now...... Hind sight is 20/20. I consider myself fairly intelligent, and highly mechanically inclined, but I do not run around being a know it all. I can't stand people like that, plus then people always want you to do stuff for them, so it's best to keep quiet. LOL I can do home repairs, electrical, plumbing, painting and have even cut ceramic wall tiles for fit. Thats tricky. Need a new computer? I can custom build you one to do whatever you want, I order the parts off the net, per someones specs, and assemble it and load the software myself and trouble shoot and repair them when necessary. I self taught myself that. I have built 3 so far. All still in use. We also enjoy camping. We have a nice trailer on a permanent site we spend a lot of time at during the season.
