I'm making it through each day, trying to hold onto my principles, my interests, and my sanity. Largely succeeding in that order. The system is robbing me of them all in ever-increasing amounts. I fight back though. I took a first jab at that system by going to school to study something that was frowned upon (and according to some, dying a slow death) - English Lit. Then I quickly followed with a left hook by going back to school to get my Master's Degree in Literature. Now I'm trying to pull off a roundhouse kick to the head (Chuck Norris-style) by teaching English classes to a bunch of students at a VOCATIONAL/TECHNICAL college!
