I hate this part....but here goes.....I am a well adjusted, basically happy person who is very family oriented. I love sports, and I love to travel. I'm a reader, and I like movies and sometimes, I like TV. My children are about to leave the nest, and that opens up a whole new world for me. I would love to meet the next love of my life, but I'm OK if that never happens again. I would still enjoy my life. I do think it would be fun to date again, and see what happens, so I'm dipping one toe in the water. That should tell you that I'm not a huge risk taker. I like to take things slow, do one step at a time. If you're OK with that pace, and if you like to participate in good conversation over a cup of coffee or a glass of wine, we should get together. I like all the usual characteristics of a good man.....honesty, loyalty, kindness, compassion, trustworthiness, ethical and hard working, and most important, a well developed sense of humor. I have all of those characteristics, and I choose to be around people who are like me. I'm not comfortable with drugs, or with alcoholics, liars or cheats. I'm allergic to cigarette smoke, so that's out too.
Looks are important only as far as attraction goes. There has to be chemistry, and who knows what triggers the spark? I sure don't. I am attracted to men who take care of themselves, but I don't like a guy who is so fussy about his appearance that he's higher maintenance than I am.
