I am new to this, so pardon the naivety. I am looking for a compatible companion first, then more later, if it comes to that. I am a well-grounded individual, and am happy with my life, which is full and busy! I have been divorced for 10 years now, and am too old to go back to the bar scene to try and find someone to share time with. Most of my friends are in my same age group, and are married, so I hate to be the third (or fifth) wheel in get-togethers and outings.
I have a 9-yr old daughter, who is alternately the joy and the bane of my existence. I spend a lot of my spare time keeping up with her social life, which contributes to the lack of mine.
I am not photogenic, which is the main reason I won't post a picture here; besides the fact that I am usually the one taking pictures, therefore, I am rarely in them. I am happy to email you pix on request, though.
While I no longer a knock-out beauty, I am not by any means ugly. I am short, with proportionate weight and measurements (I don't believe in scales, so while I don't know how much I weigh, my size 6 clothes still fit, so I don't consider myself overweight) One might assume that grace accompanies a petite stature, however, I am extremely clumsy (case in point- I just spilled my coffee all over the microwave-a 20 oz cup, no less!)
My clumsiness carries over to my personality; In creating my profile, I put 'shy' in the personality box, however, I have a bad habit of blurting out before thinking, so I have learned to just keep my mouth shut, which is often interpreted as shy. (They didn't have a box for tactless!) I can talk forever, with people I am comfortable around, and share the same interests with- could that be you?
