I have so much to be thankful for--- a great job, great kids, great friends. I consider myself to be an easy-going yet goal-oriented guy. I do have a tendency to wear my heart on my sleeve---I am sentimental, romantic, honest and forgiving, I believe that every great relationship starts off as a friendship. I am happy alone--- although I do hope that love finds me. I believe that's it's possible to change the world, one person at a time. I also believe that the best way to do that is to treat people with kindness, especially when they least expect it. My philosophy about love is that I am going to choose wisely, then love passionately. I am willing to settle down, but I'm unwilling to settle. The only way that I will get into another relationship is if it is something spectacular. I'm not needy--- but I am open. As I was recently reminded, "It's okay to fail. It's not okay to give up."
Lastly---and perhaps I should have put this first, the most important thing in my life is my relationship with Jesus Christ. Without that foundation of faith, I would have been devastated many times. My faith in God gives me the strength to bounce back, confidence for the future and hope that all things will work out for good.
