Just a guy tired of trying to find the right woman in a damn bar. Meeting women in a bar is only effective for those who need some quick a** without the hassle of trying to remember a name and stuff. I'm not that guy.
People who don't know me very well would say I'm pretty quiet, probably shy, but thoughtful. People who know the real me know that I am nothing short of a pure jackass, in the best sense of the word of course. In unfamiliar territory, I prefer to stand back and take things in, but the wheels are turning, sweetheart, the wheels are turning. And once I've decided to let it go, I'm certain to offend somebody. I can be uh... raunchy, when I need to be (or when I absolutely should NOT be), viciously sarcastic, at times even witty with a spicy finish when properly fermented. I find glee in making people laugh.
By day I'm a Systems Administrator/Network Engineer/Project Mgr. I wear many hats, and one of them might as well be geek. Geek-ish, maybe. Geek-like tendencies? I don't know... I've often gone hours at a time without surfing the Web, I have no Star Wars costumes in my closet, and I had sex once, so I'm not a full blown booger nerd.
I love great food, and I've got some serious chops in the kitchen (food geek?). I'd love to cook you a sensational dinner, but you gotta earn it... no, not like THAT... oh, okay, take 'em off, but you do NOT want to cook bacon like that, trust me! The word of the day is "Culinary Foreplay". Discuss amongst yourselves.
Ideally, I'd like to meet a beautiful woman who loves to laugh and shows as few signs of psychosis as possible. I admit, I seem to have a knack for singling out the most disturbed chick in the place and making her mine, which never ends well, so I'd like to avoid that if possible.
I am very close to my family and spend time with them regularly. What can I say, I'm a bit of an old-fashioned guy, and I prefer women who are very family oriented as well.
