Recently divorced, since now that our son is out of college and started in his career out of town, my wife and I decided it was time to dissolve our faithful but by now totally passionless marriage and go our separate ways, with each other's affectionate blessing. I'm a medical research scientist, who values knowledge and reason above most else, I make a genteel but not super (but not tiny) income, and have the non-glitzy tastes that would suggest. I love hiking, walking in the park, spending quality time with my dog (though I've just lost her, my 11 year old Golden, and am in emotional transition there too about what to do next).
