People say I looked like an imposing authoritative figure. I am stopped in stores and asked for directions. On a flight with corporate attire on, I sat next to a nice grandmother type. She started chatting and asked me what company I was a C.E.O. for. I explain I wasn't. She politely said, "you sure look like one".
How I see myself is probably much different than people do. From a Myers-Briggs assessment, I am as ESTJ. That is I am extrovert (just barely and have tested an introvert). I am sensory versus intuitive. Thinking versus Feeling. Lastly, Judging versus Perceiving.
I am articulate, intelligent, creativity, a thinker with a good sense of humor. I am analytical and make business decision heuristically.
My best friend describes me as "one of the few nice guys" left. I am giving and can be very soft hearted. I don't have a lot of friend but the ones I have will say that I am their "best" friend. I love deeply, especially those who I allow into my circle of life's celebration.
At 60, I can't be changed, fixed or whatever some women feel they need to do to make me what they want. As Popeye says, "I am what I am". I am not “My way or the Highway”. I totally realize that relationship of any kind take compromise. However, you can’t compromise so much that you lose yourself.
I want a sexual playmate, travel partner, companion, part time counselor and most of all, my best friend. Someone that respects me, love me for who I am and most of all, someone that wants the best for both of us.
