OK, this may sound heavy for many, but is necessary as it defines best who I am and what I am looking for. My personality is constantly being formed in Christ. He defines my life purpose. I take the bible, His standard of communication with mankind literally. When interpreted in context as originally written, and received with principles of grace and humility it stands as the absolute authority for life. When conflicts arise, the answers are here. For the believer in Christ, I believe daily intake of the word is essential even for spiritual maintenance let alone growth.
I need to share and receive from that closest friend who has her own strong vertical relationship with Christ, the deep things that God gives to foster our joint growth and purpose. I believe the local assembly is God's best learning provision, while objectivity and conviction in the filling of the Holy Spirit upon confession of any known sin assures His assistance through appointed trials. I believe soul mating is primarily for spiritual battle together, not simply for giving and receiving from each other. Such relationship can be a total blast!
