I have been widowed almost 2 years. I would like to find a gentleman and get to know each other. It is very difficult to describe myself. I am many things as most people are. Since retiring from the school system last year I have been writing short stories from my childhood days on the farm. . I grew up on a farm in Moultrie, Ga and have many stories to tell about farm life as we knew it then. I graduated from Moultrie High School in 1955 and went to Perry Business College in Valdosta, Ga. We lived in Houston TX for many years and moved back to Middle Georgia in 1987. I worked at Rice University while living in TX.
I work at the local hospital as a Pink Lady and serve Meals on Wheels to the sick and shut in. Serving others brings me joy and contentment. My Christian faith has brought me through many of life's hard times.
I am a strong individual. I would like to meet a gentleman that likes to travel some and one that is happy just "hanging out" watching a movie or sitting by the fire cuddled up on the sofa. I'm a very romatic at heart lady, and would hope I could find a romantic fun loving gentleman. I want to stress that I was born and raised in the country but I am refined like sugar and just as sweet.
