I was the first person in my family born in America from Germany, and I was raised by my grandmother is a very Old World fashion. I get along with people from walk of life, (though I have low patience for the stupid and/or willfully ignorant) I can hold a conversation with a doctor or a dockworker in turns, and I've always wore my uniqueness as a badge of pride.
Well I am a Network Administrator who has completely forgotten how to break the ice at bars or whatnot, and is far to old to go to clubs [really don't wanna be that creepy guy], and is not certain he would want to do so either, anyway. Can never be sure about people you meet that way, and as bad of a rap online dating has, it at least gives you a way to weed out people who have obviously undesirable traits. I have to look professional for work, but I have tattoos, like them on others, and want more myself.
I am the worst liar in the history of mankind, but I am not naive and can smell them a mile away.
I live north of Dayton,OH, and only ask two things out of life: Acceptance and appreciation. I give both and expect a return in kind.
I don't mean to sound all dower and serious, I have a good sense of humor, and would have been classified as a class clown when I was younger, I try to stay positive, I like to crack jokes and keep things light (sometimes inappropriately, so a kick under the table would be understood  ).
I always wake up in the morning with a clean slate for the day, disagreements are forgotten and troubles just things to be taken care of rather than causes of worry.
