I am a wordpainter who lives and writes in a small Tenn. town near Knoxville. How small? One stoplight, three police cars, two are always parked at the station. The town festival is for tomatoes...I'm sure you get the picture...rural, folksy, and friendly. It's a perfect place to hunker down and write, which is my passion. Before this, I was Pres/CEO of a few companies, mostly involved in sales. But the passion of my life is writing. I write song lyrics, poems, fiction and non-fiction. the words flow like lava running down a mountain. While I am mostly retired from my last company, I still sell sometimes. Just to keep my sales abilities honed. Lately, I have also begun tutoring disadvantaged children at the local schools, helping them as best I can. But truly, this work helps me more than them. It refreshes my soul and gives me a little self worth and a reason for being.... It makes me a more complete person also.
Now for the real fun!!! What I am looking for...A gypsy woman with a great mind and piercing eyes that cut clean to my soul...( told you I was a wordpainter )...I want someone who can stimulate conversation, cuddle at night, excite me, body and soul, and still let me make breakfast in the morning. Someone who, though chronologically challenged, remains young in heart and soul and mind. A temptress when she wants to be, a listener when she cares. I don't want a drunk, nor a smoker...I gave both vices up and I am the epitome of reformed soul in those areas. Sorry, that's me. I don't want a "sleep arounder", but I am still very active in my life. She must remember that I am passionate, that I save turtles in the road, I open the door for my woman, and I put the lid down on the toilet. I have much more empathy than most men, and I see nature as an American Indian sees it...We should walk the Earth, but leave no footprints.
