A little about me: Originally from New Jersey, I have lived in Rhode Island for about 10 years. I am a straight forward, funny, balanced, intelligent, honest, humorous, genuine, wicked smat, simple, modest, sometimes silly, down-to-earth, spiritual, healthy, easy going man looking for a woman who is ready for a committed and serious relationship (not just a fling - I have never just had a fling).
I am a CPA with a very good career, although my job does not define who I am. I do not live to work - I work to live and enjoy a decent lifestyle. I also believe in charity and doing something to help out others without expecting anything in return - which is why I volunteer as the treasurer of a local non-profit organization.
I love to laugh and enjoy seeing others laugh. I think respect and courtesy are very important in any relationship.
I go to the gym most days of the week and consider myself fit and athletic. I think fitness is important for a person's well-being, physically and mentally, and it is a part of my life. Again, like work, I do not live to exercise - I exercise to live and enjoy a healthy and happy life.
Some of my hobbies include fishing, cooking (not saying I'm a chef), star gazing, kayaking, hiking, building models, biking, and music (I play a few instruments but want to learn how to play the guitar).
