So why am I here, and what am I looking for? After I realized that I'm better off alone than in an unhappy marriage; I've discovered that being single is not such a good thing after all. Don't get me wrong, I'm not totally alone, I have a wonderful son and two dogs that keep me company; but somehow, I feel like there's something missing in my life...
My closest friends describe me as smart, generous, witty, analytical and fun to be around. I would describe myself as someone who is proactive, not reactive. I treat people the same way that I want to be treated...I believe in "reaping what we sow".
Besides not being able to resist just one piece of Godiva or Chuao chocolates, my greatest guilty pleasure is indulging in retail therapy (let's face it, what girl doesn't like to shop?). Yes, I know that it’s a substitute for something that’s missing in my life, but at the same time, besides being therapeutic, it does have its cardiovascular benefits! 
The 3 things I must do are travel to Europe (especially Italy), go on vacation somewhere in the Pacific and stay in one of those huts above the water (think Bora Bora...no, not Boring Boring!), and lastly, I would love to go to NYC and watch the US Open (a men's finals match).
I think chemistry between two people is crucial, undeniable and is usually discovered early on in a relationship. Having an emotional/intellectual connection is more important to me than a physical one, but if that's there too, then it's a bonus! 
My ideal match is someone who complements me; a partner who shares the same values that I have; someone who isn't afraid to express his feelings to the point of being vulnerable; and most notably, someone who doesn't tell me things that he thinks I want to hear...talk is cheap...actions speak louder than words!
Here's a few of my favorite things (besides brown paper packages tied up with strings!):
•Playing tennis, especially doubles
•Being greeted everyday by my dogs, as though they hadn't seen me for years
•Playing games that involve trivia or anything that makes you use your noggin
•The smell of cinnamon rolls baking in the oven
