I tend to travel to Cape Breton monthly to my place I have there. What a beautiful place. Mountains and ocean and nice people and it has drawn my heart to it. As for me; I am unique and it is not about having a swelled up head, it is more about being interested in new things having a humble attitude and being open to seeing things from more than one perception. It is a sensitivity to others and thinking of their feelings and desires as well as being aware of yourself and your own needs. I have been a teacher in earth/life science, math and fine arts at Alt school and regular for 20 of the past 24 years. I have been a professional student (8 years college for a BS degree...it takes time to pay your way through), a boat-builder, a maintenance person, gas attendent/tow truck driver-AAA, a house builder/designer (my own), and a photographer. I love helping kids and people find their own way to accomplish things for themselves. A true teacher is a guide. We live in such a versatile time that we be a variety of roles and vocations to help us evolve our personal growth. A good time to change careers is to shift while you still love what you doing and when you want to do new things. Be positive with what you do or move on. We are here to enjoy life. I now maintain and care for homes as well as do photography in the Mid-coast Maine area and I just finished taking a captains course to eventually take people out for inspirational sailing cruises for charter. There are infinite ways to try new things. Let the universe flow and take your steps forward to let it all unfold. That is what getting on this match-site is all about. A new way to meet friends and possibly people who become more than a friend. There are many in this beautiful world ready to be your friend and guide you and support you. Be open to them. I am passionate about sailing and skiing in a relaxed manner. I like to take photos, like walks, hikes, star gaze, watching ocean wave , and enjoy daily hot tub breaks. Meditation is a state of mind. I love to learn, to study new things and share info about life energy. Be spiritual to yourself in that you see the connections within all that is around you and of course may the force be with you.
What I seek:
People of all walks of life from around the world to close at home. People who have depth to their character, men who can hug another guy and not be offended. I am straight but hugs are good for all people. I like women who can be friends first and enjoy going out together for fun's sake and generally over 35 years old please. If more develops that is OK too if I am single at the time ( presently I am single and ready for a new friend to start to get to know ). I feel women are more connected to the life energy than guys. That is a generall statement and I do enjoy discussions on where we are all from and where are we all going. Is it all connected? I especially find people have so much to offer one another to help all of the earth to evolve. No particular way is the right way but definitely some things are the wrong way like President Bush is definitely the wrong way. Listen to your heart and follow it. I like to be with optimistic people. I do not like to talk about cars and I dislike watching American Football. Movies on Encore are far better place to be than watching most sports on TV. I do like olympics. Most of all though I would like to be with a nice lady in a sailboat and a star to guide us by. Maybe follow the second star to the right and on till morning.
