Personality
I've been single about five years by choice mostly because I seem to attract the psycho ax murderer type. This is the first time I've tried the online dating "thing" and am a little uncomfortable with it but "what the heck". I am comfortable by myself and enjoy anything out of doors including exploring, hiking, agate hunting, fishing and just hanging out at the river especially on a nice sunny day. Anything that gives me an excuse to be outdoors. I have no preconceptions in what I'm looking for in a woman but just hope to someday to be pleasantly surprised. A woman with no "felony assault with a weapon" convictions will receive priority consideration. Seriously, I am a firm believer in the saying "mean people suck". I also believe mean horses suck. I guess I am just looking for a nice woman to share time with. Or a nice horse. Either or. Fine. I have no idea what I'm looking for and that's ok Oh. A sense of humor IS required.
(I'm also on Face Book)

Self portrait taken in 1980 when I realized I'd probably survived the eruption of Mount Saint Helens. I was at the mountain when it erupted while I was covering the story for the Seattle ABC affiliate KOMO TV News. I was later rescued by a Coast Guard Helicopter. Gotta love the hair, Dude.
But I make it look good, right?
It seemed like a good idea at the time. I have many good ideas. I need a good woman to just give me the "that's a really stupid idea look" huh? This is God telling me to get off his Mountain.
My playground, the Yellowstone.
