I am a strong Christian and desire is to be closer to Jesus—even more so as the day approaches. Though I was raised a Christian, I got saved (as a flower child  ) during the "Jesus Movement" some years ago. I am very evangelical, and see all of life as a mission field.
I am fairly outgoing, but am shy around a lot of people. People say I have a good sense of humor. I'm pretty much down-to-earth, and enjoy the simple things of life. I tend to be an optimist and encourager, am nurturing and tenderhearted. I like anything creative or artistic. Love the country, gardening, and the smell of the soil. Some other things I enjoy are: museums, antiques, the arts, garage sales, day trips, etc. Presently, I have just finished writing a Christian allegory novel and have also written children's books. Though the Lord primarily gives me Christian songs for which to minister, I have a Vietnam memorial ballad published in the US Congressional Record.
I'm waiting for my beloved... my best friend--someone tenderhearted, kind, and not easily angered. Someone I can trust with my deepest heart--and one who will hide his heart in mine. My heart longs for someone who will cherish and honor his lady, and will love her as Jesus was example, not lording it over her as is the manner of some. A man of humility, who understands that true headship is servanthood--and who understands that there’s nothing as strong as gentleness. Someone has been sweetened by the winnowing cross of Jesus.
