I feel as though I know myself and what I am looking for much more clearly than I did perhaps 10, 15 years ago. Maybe you can relate? I am looking for the same thing many of us may be....intelligence, charm, spunk, humor, ....etc. Not looking for a carbon copy of myself just someone who brings out the best in me as I would hope I could do for him. My friends would probably describe me as being quite responsible and mature (wow, that sounds boring doesn't it?!?!) with a unique twist of being a bit of a wild child on occasion. Becoming a parent has tempered that wild side quite a bit but it's still lurking there just beneath the surface (wink). Who I am looking for is someone who will walk beside me...not in front of me, not behind me. Cliche'-ish I know, but true! I tend to have a strong will and mind of my own (don't let that scare you! lol) but have learned along the way that flexibility and a lateral way of thinking are keys to success in many things in life both personally and professionally. Whoops...almost forgot...someone who I feel a physical attraction to is also important. Doesn't mean he has to be the best looking guy in the room by society's standards but someone I feel that spark with almost instantaneously. Most importantly, above all else, I feel that family is what life is all about...although I strive to have a successful career, my family comes first. The idea of expanding that family to welcome somebody else's child(ren) is very exciting to me. I would also expect that he would do the same for my daughter and me. I feel I have a strong moral background and seek to find the same in the man who will come into my life.
