I'm a pretty straight forward person. I have many interests and I have to say some of them are not mainstream. I fly airplanes, I restore cars, I build apartments, I have nurtured horses, dogs, cats, snakes, lizards, etc. (I no longer own horses since being widowed), I write novels (OK, just one and it's still not completely finished!), I am a piano technician, I play (at) the piano... I'm not very good. The things I don't do... I don't believe every action I take is being driven or controlled by someone, or something, else. I don't believe this incredible universe JUST HAPPENED. I don't believe their is a person on the earth who can explain how it did happen ... without sounding, something-or-other. I rarely watch TV. I don't know the names of NASCAR drivers, though I respect their talent. I don't fret... over anything. I don't allow life's little bothers to get me down. I don't know the names of Hollywood stars or gameshow hosts. I don't eat junk food more than once or twice a month. I don't judge... ever! I don't relate to people who are evil... especially those who are evil toward children or animals. I don't think the Government should have ANY say over what a person (Male or Female) should, or should not do with their bodies. Although I am heterosexual, I have no problem with those who are not. I don't believe their is a secret society that controls the world. I don't believe the United States is perfect... BUT...
I have traveled the world. I was born in Germany. I played little league baseball in Japan. I watched drivers cross the Golden Gate Bridge when I was a youngster. I've been to Latin America and 'The Islands'. I've visited Canada. I've walked the yards of Dacau. If you don't believe this is the greatest country in the world then I would take issue with you (remember... I never judge) and I would be a hard sell. Having said that, I still think this country has a long way to go.
I have to add this because of some of the replies I have received lately. I have several current photos on my profile... so should you, I am fit and exercise regularly... if you don't that's a problem, I have no skeletons or baggage... don't bother if you do, I rarely watch TV... ditto, I don't like crowds... but I can put up with them on occasion, I am conservative and expect individuals to take responsibility for themselves and their choices in life... if you are ultra-liberal don't look my way, I have many hobbies and three jobs (one full time and two part time) so I stay busy, I am educated... you should be as well, I am clean and well mannered and would expect the same from you... it's amazing I need to even say that, but believe me I do. I will attempt to respond to all e-mails, but I will not respond to winks. If you are carrying a 'few extra pounds' I will probably not be interested. If you love music and the outdoors I probably will be interested, though I don't enjoy hunting. If you are recently divorced and angry... probably not a good time. If you have never been married or don't have family... could be trouble.
I know I am not the most handsome man in the world, but I am happy being single and I am secure in the knowledge that my remaining family members are nearby to keep me company. I only point that out because, after reading the above paragraph, you may think my demands are a bit over-the-top. I am picky for a reason and I hope that doesn't turn you away.
