Describe myself, hmmmmm! Well, friends say I’m lots of fun to be around, honest, open, naughty, sexy, no pretenses, practical, a realist, loads of common sense and down to earth. I’m street smart instead of book smart but no dummy. Hold diploma in computers and a PHD from the school of hard knocks. Hate being the center of attention in a crowd, definitely not a public speaker. Can’t sing to save my soul but love just about all kinds of music except heavy metal, opera and dirty rap. Love to dance! Kind of shy at first but warm up quickly. I’m a good cook, have a good job and I’m buying my own home. I’ve had 3 kids, raised several more. Miss my 8 grandchildren cause they all live so far away. My favorite color is purple. My favorite TV shows are MASH and Charmed. Favorite films are action films and sci-fi and anything by Disney. Big Harry Potter fan! Truly believe that rainy days are meant to be spent in bed. Like to dress up and go out on the town for special occasions but rather hang out at home with someone special and snuggle on the sofa. Like to read, sew and decorate my house in my own eclectic style. Don’t care about labels and will bargain shop to get the best deal and you only have to come along if you want to. Homemade gifts are more special than something bought “just to have something to give”. Conversation, consideration and compromise are my best recommendations for a happy relationship. While looks are not uppermost, physical and sexual compatibility are critical. I'm a touchy feely person and absolutely believe in kissing my partner hello, goodbye and just because I want to no matter who is looking. What am I looking for? My fantasy man is part James Bond (the sexual animal), part John Wayne (a man’s man), part Robin Williams (great sense of humor), part Dr. Phil (cause he would really listen), and part Grizzly Adams (cause he’d fill up my arms and make me feel warm and safe). But since I know that I can’t have a custom fit in this off the rack world, I would like to find someone who is comfortable in his own skin, who likes to laugh and have a good time, will treat me like a lady in public and like a woman in private. Someone who likes to whisper sweet nothings, leave me silly notes on my pillow, likes long slow kisses, has a firm but gentle touch but would never dream of lifting his hand to me in anger. He’ll protect me from the things that go bump in the night, kill the spiders, hold me when I’m down, not run away when I cry but will have the sense enough to clear out when I’m mad. Someone who will work as hard as I do at his job, play and our relationship.
If we are a match, we should want to spend as much time as possible together but will respect each others space, time, belongings, family and friends. Being away from each other will create feelings of wanting to be together again and impatience with having to be apart.
